Gorgeous little antique commode handpainted in a range of pastel colours. This is a lovely quirky piece, made from solid mahogany wood, complete with its telltale "hole" when you lift the top. The hole is topped by a dainty pine lid.
This is a very versatile piece that can be used/displayed in many ways, in a child's bedroom as a bedside table, in a bathroom to add interest or as a side table in a drawing room.
It has been fully sanded, treated, primed, painted and finally varnished for protection. The base colour is "Clunch" by Farrow & Ball.
